The needle grippers are two round rubber plates and are used where the sewing needle is pulled through several layers of fabric or solid materials. Pinched between the thumb and forefinger, they are bent around the shaft of the needle and thus prevent slipping when the needle is pulled. This means that much less effort is required and fatigue-free work is therefore guaranteed. This makes them a practical accessory at the sewing station.
