Large needles for a range of uses: the plastic single-pointed knitted needles are suitably principally for knitting large stitches in thick wools. They are used to create a number of current trends such as loop scarves, coarse meshed knitted jackets and pullovers or home décor accessories. The single-pointed knitting needles are available from gauge 8 upwards and in a choice of lengths from 35 to 40 cm. As from needle gauge 12 the single-pointed knitted needles have a white shaft with blue points and heads; the shaft is hollow to limit their weight.
