Mixing Polyester and Cotton together gives the ‘best of both worlds’. Polycotton feels very soft yet is longer-lasting than cotton alone. Polycotton can be washed more times than cotton without losing it's shape or moisture-absorbing abilities. Polycotton is largely wrinkle resistant which means garments made from polycotton need to be ironed less. When working to tight margins, Polycotton is a very accessible option for garment and textile production as it is so much more affordable.
